Got these by prowling e-bray. Carl Eickhorn and a Berg & co. I know nothing about german bayonets. The Berg&Co has been painted black. Anyone know if the germans did that or just some yaahoo? I'll take the stripper to the paint if there isn't any value to the paint. I just wanted something for the K98 that I have. And ended up buying 2. |

$46 for the scabbardless CE and $70 for the other one. The paint was a bubba job and now it's been stripped. Probably to much money but they are unfindable without the computer and I got carried away. Also bought a butcher german too but it was in sorry shape. Some goof took a dremel to the middle of the blade and tried to sharpen the tip. I ground out the dremel marks and then sanded out the grind marks. Then hit it with some browning solution. It is almost not ugly now. Hated to do it but I couldn't leave it that way. picsof it wene its together again. |

Yeah prices are just a tad on the high side but still a very good deal. Value keeps rising every day for these. I'd love to see that butcher ! BRGDS, A |
