I think I just found the mother of all collectable artillery shells. Gun broker has a 16 inch 50 cal. 2000 pound Iowa class projectile for sale :-o first time I have ever seen one of those for sale, man I'd hate to pay shipping on that puppy. No this is not a add, just didn't believe what I was seeing.

Opps. Tried to post the link last night and just saw that it didn't take. Checked it to see if it got a bid and they sold it for $2000.00.

It wasn't me. Like I said I just did not believe what I was seeing on a gun auction sight nor what was paid for it much less what it would cost in shipping alone. I would like to know who did buy it though.
