Ordered one of these off the web, didn't know it had no fuse so I had to buy that off gun broker for 3 times what they had been selling for. The wood had a little mold on it when I got it and the metal had some corrosion. I cleaned the wood with bleach and water, light sanded it and then coated it with true oil from a gun stock refinish kit I had, I unscrewed the top cleaned it and painted it black, it came out nice. I might paint the rest of the metal at some point but I can't decide on a color. |

it turned out really nice , i dont know that i would paint the rest - looks good in the photo |

Hey that looks really good. Might have to do that to mine also. Anybody have a picture of what they looked like when new and still in service? |

now that would be worth a lot in this discussion , i never saw one except here and other internet sites , wonder how they came from the factory ......... if im putting it in my family room its one thing but as as collectible - i might like it original |

Thanks Herr Mario the 2nd one is it. That first one is odd, a clad loading dummy, that ought to scrach off fast. |
