....as far as I know...a pre WW2 bayo....made by Gebruder Heller, Marienthal bei Schweina, Thuringen 1935 ....later 35'-ish I think .... quick guess without lookin deeper... |

I checked with my most reliable sources..... It appears as though the '77' mark indicates it was hitler's personal bajonet. He wore this when he gave the order for the bombing of pearl harbor

I can not agree with the above comment. Anibody who has ever done any cereal historic research knows that Hitler's personal WWI butcher bayonet was marked 88, NOT 77. "88" standing for "HH", like in "Heil Hitler" ... A |

Yeah but my reliable source tells me the '77' mark was done to throw off any ner'er-do-wells trying to get their hands on coveted personal items |
