Attention New Members and those new registering! We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7. Thanks for joining us from the administration.

Yeah that's the hitch ...
It will be nigh impossible to find the correct original grips. I'll be searching for replicas but I'm not sure they even exist. Might have to get creative and make some myself, but then I still need the screws ...
Oh well, couldn't really pass-up on this deal for 105 (shipping included) could I ?

Actually it's thanks to Steve that I got these. I was bidding on some Italian bayonet for him and I stumbled on these in the process.
Unfortunately he didn't win the bayo :-(

i understand the nature of the good buy and all , congrats on your win , i am not very knowledgable on these so i was inspired to ask about the missing bits ,

i think it might be a great adventure to make the scales if you cant find originals/repros , and seeking out an appropriate screw set could be fun too , after all if these are unfindable - why not ? a good restoration can be very rewarding ,

too bad about steves italian piece , maybe next time

The guy showed up at my door with the bayos saturday evening.
They're not in very good condition. Somebody has been cleaning a lot of corrosion offa these blades. That's why they apear so shiny.
If I would have seen them for real I would not have bought them. But still, the price ain't that bad. I can always get rid of them and still make a couple bucks.
