Attention New Members and those new registering! We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7. Thanks for joining us from the administration.

Warsteel, are you sure that it is cut down? The fuller does not appear to run to the point as would one that has been shortened.

Does it have a date, or manufacturers make on it? It would appear to be a WW2 make. Tenbore is right..

No date, unless it is under the grips, just U C , and the flaming bomb. Should one try to buff it up with steel wool, or just leave the patina?? :indk:

It is a WW2 make, not a cut down. Utica Cutlery. Here is a photo of AFH,American Fork and Hoe. Not a cut down. Then a pictute of a Springfield 1907 that was cut-down..note how the fuller goes almost thru the tip///

Here is a UC that was cut down. They made both,16" and 10". Note the difference in the tips between yours and mine.
