Don't worry about the paint. Probably had a drum left in the warehouse and they considered it good rust protection. Kinda like all that grey painted belgian hardware. A |

the green paint is actually a product of 'use' in the malaysian area and such - many of the no5s have it as well , not a negative in my book as its part of their service , my WSC was a bit rough and yet that is part of it too , these were issued arms - i like the ones that look like they 'been there and done that' , its part of their character , post some photos please , my photos are old but taken after i culled my collection , my poole is the representative here - |

very nice. the Poole is awesome, so is the no 7. many of the no 5 bayonets you see are in ruff shape. |

nice- having a red and black no7. I only seen one black handle one and they wanted a lot for it. I like the blades on the short British bayonets. I don't have enough of them to sell yet (need more). Do you have pics of the no 6? |

no , its a rarer bird , im not an avid seeker - more an opportunist/impulse buyer , there are not so many i need these days but that one is absent from my collection - course it might mean buying another firearm .... i ended up with both the red and black by accident attending a gun show with a fellow member - he helped me out |
