Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

The usual suspects were sleeping when this auction ended! Grabbed it for a small fraction of what they normally bring! And!! It's an ultra-scarce parade model!!

Or not. Actually, bubba made a project of it & it turned out pretty well. Fortunately, somebody who looks a lot like me has a NOS blade! Might take an hour or two to find it, but it's in my bayonet pile somewhere!

It has always been an amazement to me how much people will spend for one. As a bayonet, they are pretty much worthless. Italy included them with the M38 short rifles they sold to Finland in 1938. Finns commonly threw them away as "not even good for opening cans of rations".

If you ever see one listed less than $100, you can make money on it. This one goes on a nice M38 short rifle I have. SW

im not into the I-ties but i do appreciate having one for every rifle [if it takes one] and sometimes a spare or two , congrats on a good buy

I've noticed fakes on gunborker and eGun.de Fakes are really getting to be an issue.

Some bonehead on gunboards was trying to sell fake stamps to hump Mausers into something they weren't. Happily, he got suspended for it.

You really need to have your head in the collecting game anymore. SW

the fake stampings - cartouches , are nothing new - the US rifles faced it in past years they are following the sales , as always buyers beware , you can buy a pig in a polk very easy m
