Got about a third of the loot I scored at the expo today. I wanted a bajonet for my K31 & Tamas helped me look. Pricing was a consistent 55 EUD until we found this one w/o a scabbard marked 40.

No guts - no glory = I offered 20 & he said okay. It was snowing and colder than usual for Belgium so attendance was down considerably. Oddly, it's a 1 day expo & vendors were trying to at least pay for the tables.

It's not a dedicated K31 bajonet - for an earlier model. But it fits. Made by 'Elsener, Schwyz'.

Shown with an Italian and Dutch for size perspective. I stepped out on the patio & bayonetted a small tree. Very sturdy on my K31!

For 20, I'm way happy! SW

you got a nice one , at a decent price , looks great where it belongs and these were fine instruments that saw little use , most you find are in fairly good shape - some are exceptional for their age ,

ill admit to not knowing a whole lot here but i did invest enough time in research to collect the pointy bits for my meager collection back when , all long gone now ,
