Yesterday's Weapons Forums

Was doing the paperwork on the new 1911 and T38 Cavalry when my guy busts out a treasure trove of awsome Japanese stuff that he just got from a guy who got it from the estate of somebody famous.
Now I don't give a rat's @#$ about who the former owner was, but lets just say that if he decides to put any of it on the market(as oposed to keeping it for himself) there's an awsome NCO sword in pristine shape, a T-14 holster rig to die for, and tons of other goodies.
Said famous person killed himself, but actually served as a PFC in the Pacific(at great cost to his career).
The one thing my guy would sell me was this.



wanted one for years, and am happier than the perverbial pig in something.............

Edited: Said famous person supposedly killed himself with a Luger. Seeing the T-14 holster rig with his name and outfit etched into the leather has me wondering now if he didnn't off himself with a bring-back T-14?

Mostly catching up on things promised before I just spent a month and a half with 3 days off.
That number is now 5 days since I had this sat and sun off...so I'm feeling like a bit of a wienie for complaining.
I think I'm mostly caught up. I know I have a 300 page Japanese photo-book of the China campaign period that needs to be scanned, yes, another one...not gonna happen anytime soon...I still have to take detailed pics of my only NCO sword(Japanese), that's only been like 10 months or more in the making, and the last 10 cups I got straight from Japan a few days ago. Oh yeah, promised Herr Spooky some detailed shots of the blowed-up Japanese field glasses!
I'm told that I get a day off this week, so who knows.
I'm going to go eat, shave, have a beer and go to sleep now. In that order.
Oh yes, it is innert, and the fuse has been burned...no chance of making it otherwise. SAFETY FIRST!!
