The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7. Thanks for joining us from the administration.

Well I am hooked on ebay again. Got a WW2 Navy signal light. and now I finalygot myself a siamese mauser bayonet. Pictures to follow

Subhunter, what kind of signal light? Ship mounted for Morse code, or the hand held 'lantern' type?
I ask because not too long ago I picked up a 12V WW2 hand held floodlight made by Carpenter.(It may have originally been 6 Volt, but the bulb changed). It is not a signal light, but like the pistol type car floods of today, but made of aluminum.
