The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7. Thanks for joining us from the administration.

Post subject: MOD 1917 BOLO KNIFE

I just picked this up today while setting up at a gun show. I don't really know much about them at all.I am hoping that someone else knows about them or a good website to get info from. Its marked on both sides of the blade and the tip of the scabbard is mark as seen in the photos. it looks like a real one to me.

i had one of those - it was a plumb i believe , they are pretty much for the use as stated above , id heard they carried them onto the pacific islands when they went ashore to clear the way , but im really not knowledgeable in these at all ,

yours looks right and the scabord looks top knotch and authentic , id say its a great catch
