Well someone wrote a good japanese bayonet book so we can stop paying the crazy $300 + for Lary Johnsons "Japanese bayonets " Thed difinitave works. This new book looks like it has lots of promise. only problem is the guy is only selling 100 copys. I just ordered one and can't wait to get it.Here is the link, it has sample pages and the table of contents.

I am really excited that someone finely wrote another book on collecting Japanese bayonets. I just placed an order for a copy. I was wondering did you get any information from other sources? Before this Larry Johnson book "Japanese Bayonets" was the holy grail of Japanese bayonet collecting books. Does your book contain the same information as his and more?



Thank you for your interest in my book and for your order. This book is 480 pages compared to Larry’s 156, so I think you can do the math and see I went way over board with this book. Larry won’t let me use the JB#’s, text or pictures from his book, so I have created a new variation chart, plus have added dozens of new bayonets. The frog chapter alone has 70 different Japanese frogs, I have over 30 different trainers, and a lot of new Child bayonets, not to mean chine I have added the series marks for each one too. The high and lows are not quit what I would have liked, but as time goes on and I have collected more information, I will reprint or add a volume two with more new stuff. If you liked Larry’s book, you’ll love this one as I have given each variation its own page. I’m going to pick them up today from the printer, so your right on time. We should have them in the mail Saturday or Monday, depending on how late we work tonight. So with all that said, take care and we hope you enjoy the book.

Well my copy showed up today and wow Great book, I love the pictures. Worth every penny. Gettem before the price skyrockets.
