Haven't seen a Mk2 with a sheath like that....guessing it is after-market.

And, I suppose, you could call it a "trench knife". But that's the first time I have heard it.
Generally called a "fighting knife". Actually meant as a utility tool.
Originally for troops not issued with a bayonet-compatible weapon.

Too bad Camillus went out of business--they could not compete withthe cheap knifes from China.
