The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7. Thanks for joining us from the administration.

The metal knuckles go back at least to the Civil War.Iron examples have been found.

That's funny. I've always assotiated them with front line doggies. Mostly Pacific. I was wrong, I think now that it wasn't theatre dependant. My mind is full of recolections of sharpened screw drivers, ice picks and brass knuckles I'd always heard Pacific Vets talk about...it seems whatever would help a little in the dark without a muzzle flash was what they had.
Nice post either way. Now I want to do a little research. :wink:
