to go with my helmets the grey canteen on the left is dated 1940, and is marked with what I thought was an anchor, but is actually a crossbow. A symbol that it was swiss made, the bag looking thing is a bread bag |

and i now have inside info that he got a nice bag to go with that 40 canteen, made a great buy on some ammo and it came with the bag which was equally great - ill let him post some photos |

I got the left one today, with 230 rds of 7.62x39 ammo for 40, it's dated '38, the other is dated '63. The older one is rubberized, or at least that's what they called it. |

what a haul on that one , he did very well , that bag is near mint condition , which reminds me - ill confess to being a bit less prepared than i should have been , these guys taught me to bring a bag with a shoulderstrap and/or backpack to carry "stuff" in and a couple gunsleves just in case [which with these two is mandatory] for that rifle someone talks you into buying |

i actually have a couple recent made sig beverage containers - these folks know how to make nice stuff |
