Attention New Members and those new registering! We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7. Thanks for joining us from the administration.

I was given these two bayonets by my mother in law. She claims that they were brought back from Germany by her husband after WWII. They do not fit anything I have. Do you have any ideas?

You don't want those Danish Krag bayos, very old, maybe rusty, you should send them to me for proper disposal

A model 1889, made by solingen? Germany seemed to be contracted to make alot of the european bayos

Thanks for the info. Because of where they came from and the history behind them, they will not be going anywhere.
Notice one has wooden grips, and one has black rubber grips.

Leather was original, wood grips in 1892, with leather stocks being used up. My book doesn't mention plastic, but it doesn't have everything in it
