I have been dealing with a fellow for a Vetterli bayonet & he wanted a Turk bayo. Many years ago, I vaguely recall getting a "Box o' bayonets for one money" deal from smokey Mt knife.

Lo & behold, I found the box!! I had forgotten ALL about the bayonets!

Any clues to what these are will be greatly appreciated! I will sell the ones the Vett bayo fellow does not want.

1) Turk? Really no markings. Tall guard. Scabbard has a couple dents but bayo fits easily. A number on the butt is the only marking on the whole thing.

2) Same as above. Blade a little nicer - scabbard a little worse. End of bayo marked "As.F" on one side & number on the other. Scabbard missing the screw & blade retainer.

3) Blade has cutting edge on top like a Steyr bayonet but it does not fit any model Steyr I have. Blade marked "C9Z" over J Scabbard marked but unreadable. Initials carved into handles a long time ago.

4) Brand new bayonet. Blade has Cyrillic markings = Bulgarian? In English, it reads PREDUZE** can't read the last 2 letters due to crusty cosmo. Brang NEW bayonet & scabbard.

Makes me wonder what else is lurking in the dusty corners of my ammo/gun parts/misc gun junk shelves! SW

The third one listed AS.F looks like a mauser. It might help others if you can accurately measure the inside diameter of the barrel ring. Also above shot of each with the lug groove showing might help. Of course there are those who will immediately know upon seeing them. As for me I know zero--------0000 about bayonets and have to find out by measurement of the ring, lug groove width and length and distance from barrel ring to lug groove. Sorry I cannot help. They may all be mauser from 1915-1960 although made in Czechoslovakia/ bulgaria etc. Absolutely clueless.

third one down may be CZ 24
botom one Yugo Mauser?

Okay - the top 2 are traded for a Vetterli bayonet. The others are for sale as soon as I figure a fair price. There's another - I thought it was an M-16 bayonet, but the muzzle ring is too small for my EBR. The bayo lug of same is too large for the bayonet... which means it's for a Daewoo?

Looks exactly like an M-16 bayonet - just smaller. VG+ condition. I do not believe it has been on a rifle. Some of the parkerizing has been knocked off from rattling around in the box with the other bayonets. SW

....bottom one is definately a Yugo Bayo-Preduzece 44....will fit a K98 or similar style Mauser....I sent a minty matcher like that to tetsau...

....I had one come with my Yugo K98 Mauser when I bought it back in 2000....and another that came with a 24/47-and I bought another minty unissued one slathered in cosmo by itself that could be the twin of the one you have pictured....
