Yep, got me another butcher.
Dual maker marked. I'll have it by the end of the week.
In the meantime here's some pix.
Best regards, A

...as a kid,I found one hidden away in an abandoned garage...I still remember it said "Luneschloss Solingen 1917"....my parents found I had it hidden under my bed and made me trade it away to someone for a stupid stamp collection  ...they always were anti gun, anti anything that was pointy sharp or war related :( ...but then again-they saw too much ugly stuff during it,so I guess I cant blame them :-? ...but it sure was fun being the "cool kid" in the neighborhood for a few months while I had it...

They're not exactly hard to find, but the ones in good condition are snapped up by collectors immediately.
Prices are rising daily. I paid 80 for this one (with scabbard) and I only got it at that bargain price because I bought some stuff from this seller last month.
At a militaria show you'll have to fork out over 100 for something like this. Pitted blades, missing grips, broken points cost less, but imho too much for what they are.
There's the big militaria show in Ciney coming up this month (it's twice a year), so I'll be sniffing around there too.
Best regards, A
