You left out the M1917....
No bayonets were made for the B.A.R.
or the Thompson, or the M3- ( .45)
There was a unique bayonet for the Johnson M1941.
The M1897 and M1912 Shotguns took the same bayonet as the M1917.

thanks again , the krags are interesting , its designated M1892 and that held thru the end of production which actually didnt begin till 1894 , they were dated but not serialed , they were considered part of the rifle in those days ,

not much changed with the bayonet , flat to domed rivets that held the scales and blued to polished finish , these occurring late in production , which covered 1894-1903 , the scabbards morphed 4 times - thats what i really collected ,

my early one is an early 1895 - polished metal finish , it has very smoothly sanded/fitted grip scales with ground smooth rivets , and with a type I scabbard that had a 'finger' hook that slid into a cartridge loop of the prairie belt , the hanger swung freely on this one ,

my next is a late 1895 - very similar to the early , the scabbard , type II , is similar but the hanger swing is restricted ,

the third is a 1899 - the scabbard is a type III these had a wire clamping type hanger that fit over[spanned the cartridge] of the cartridge loop of the prarie belt , the wires are spread apart ,

Image

and the last is a 1901 - with the type IV , this hanger was the wire that fit between the pockets of the early pocket style cartridge belt , its the same one that was used on the M1905 scabbard for the M1905 bayonet ,

there was varients that are valuable - the cadet model and combo entrenching/bowie knife version and bolo version , i dont have any of these ,

as to the M1917s - i no longer have my VN era version with its fiberglass scabbard , but i do have a WWI fiberglass scabbard [slightly different]
