Since arrow points and native weapons still go here, I've pics of a "gunstock war club" I made. Kaintuck cut down a cherry tree in his Mom's yard and had boards milled for BP rifles he used to build. Had a short board leftover and sent it to me. It was just the rough shape. I finished forming it and added paint, tacks and turk feathers. It's about the size of a Ruger 10-22 stock. im guessing this dates to our revolutionary war times , when the brits employed the indians ageist us and we nearly / or maybe were at war with Canada ? interesting times when the weapon of choice was often an axe like item of some sort , the use of wich was often regarded as barbaric even in those times |
