Post subject:  my recent inheritance

this combination of two knives and two lighters ,

the two lighters are "coral sea" , the one knife is not labeled but the other is marked to the "nautilus" , all were my father in laws ,

i also have some things related to the "swordfish" of his so far , im not even into all the boxes so just scratched the surface

Good steel on those Camillus blades.

Slightly different blade and scale profiles on both.
Zippo will rebuild those lighters for the cost of postage there and back.

ill look into the zippos if they dont work , but so far everything ive pulled out is in working order , i know george smoked in service but he had quit by the time i met him in the late 80s ,
ill add that i believe that nautilus marked blade was carried by him throughout his career , he was fairly proud of his place on her original crew , both have been used and sharpened a little over the years as was his WWII era K-bar he gave me a couple decades ago when he was still alive , im sure he got both of his WWII era knives when he was in VN ,
