Attention New Members and those new registering! We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7. Thanks for joining us from the administration.

I collected along the Tennessee River, Pickwick Basin, in the late 40s early 50s. I have a few items left, most I found, a few I bought, afew water bottles, large celt, grooved ax, some projectile points, shell and copper beads, etc. Where would be the best place to get a fair price for these. I don't wan't to make a killing, but I would like fair market value.

It may be worth getting a short term membership to Artfact: http://www.artfact.com/

You can get a one month trial membership for free and see if it's worth keeping. In the meantime, you can knock out a lot of research in one month.

I typed in "Indian Artifacts" and it returned 563 recent auction sales of artifacts and the prices they sold at. For example:

Lot 334 : Four Cases of Indian Artifacts
Four Cases of Indian Artifacts
Four cases of miscellaneous arrowheads, labeled "Not NC", averaging 50 arrowheads each. Each case is 12" x 16".
Estimate : $100 - $300
