The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7. Thanks for joining us from the administration.

So I picked up this stock some time ago and knew it went to an M1A or M14 but didn't know what it was and the guy I got it from didn't know what it was either so I paid very little for it, Now that I know it is a E2 stock or copy of one. Question is how do I know if its the real McCoy?

Any part numbers? I think those are called FSN but it's been a few years. Lack of those might raise the caution flag. SW

If there's a series of 12+ numbers separated by dashes, it could be legit. At least it's not one of the plastic variety! SW

it appears to be genuine to me , they are not all that common to find on the loose ,
