So I picked up this stock some time ago and knew it went to an M1A or M14 but didn't know what it was and the guy I got it from didn't know what it was either so I paid very little for it, Now that I know it is a E2 stock or copy of one. Question is how do I know if its the real McCoy? |

Any part numbers? I think those are called FSN but it's been a few years. Lack of those might raise the caution flag. SW |

If there's a series of 12+ numbers separated by dashes, it could be legit. At least it's not one of the plastic variety! SW |

it appears to be genuine to me , they are not all that common to find on the loose , |
