I went to a local auction and picked up this Albanian SKS very reasonably. This rifle is interesting and appears to have been put together from parts(not one serial number matches) Also notice the very poorly fitted stock. The bayonet is also from a Chinese type 56. I believe this was done in Albania as the ware on the locking ring matches the rifle. The cleaning rod is missing and it appears whoever used this rifle in Albania wouldn't have known how to use it anyway as you will see in the pics. Thank goodness for chrome lined bores!!!! Overall I'm happy with it. The best part is I only paid $175 for it
I have a couple of NOS stocks I will fit one to this rifle someday. As pictured the wood around the stock lug is cracked badly.
