sounds interesting , looking forward to seeing it , do not read german tho - that half of the family forbade use of the language in the 50s , wish i had learned it , i regret things that were related to the war that i was forbidden to learn , had a japanese relative of sorts as well she was also forbidden to teach me of her culture and language , my wife on the other hand grew up in japan in the 60s , she speaks some and aint it interesting what 10 years changes ,

Same here in West-Germany .... when I was in school we couldn't learn Russian. It was the language of the enemy. All we could choose was Latin, English, French or Spanish. Today Russian would be very useful, much more useful than French or Spain.
