Nebr State Patrol had 6 Thompsons stuck away - for prison riots, the story went. They even had several drum mags and a TON of old red & green box Rem ammo for them. SWAT team leader asked if we could take them out for "function test", but the Captain didn't think that was a good idea. With a full drum, they were heavy, I thought. SW |

I have always wanted a Tommy gun. I have thought lately of checking into one of the semi-autos. I just don't like the long barrel. |

closest ive gotten is a 10/22 conversion kit that turned out real nice , the company that made it is now out of business , and no longer filling orders but it was a quality kit that resulted in a keeper for me , in my opinion we should all be able to own an original in all its glory without any paperwork at all , i think all of the firearms laws are unconstitutional , |

wow, old thread how is that West Hurley running? I inherited an Auto Ordnance M1A1 and have a pile of spares and magazines, runs like a top, and easy to control when you flip the happy switch |

I still have not shot it. I took my son to the range the other day and he shot my Mosin sniper rifle and my garand sniper rifle. |

Mine is a D, I got it from a collector friend that purchased it through the CMP with the original paperwork. |
