I picked up my first last year or so , more of a M14 guy, but an inch pattern build on an inch patter receiver, with a dozen or more mags, for a price I could not turn down, have not made it to the range,, yet |

Didn't Springfield use Argentine receivers? I also recall that their thumbhole stocks felt really good compared to the other junk that importers were throwing on rifles back then. I owned one in 5.56 and paid IIRC $600 for it new. Do you think I feel stupid selling it? I got like $800 for it but now they are through the roof. That and it was a great shooting rifle. |
