Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

there was a very good article in a special Shotgun News publication on the Hakim with directions to make gas valve tool from shell casing

When I got it I had a lot of misfires. With the help of a friend we found the problem to be a weak hammer spring. We cut a new one from spring stock and she now goes bang every time. :grin:

ever see the ones jb573 over at gunboards makes? i got a couple of em from him, they're machined out of hex bar. you can get a wrench on them for the stuck gas ports. just a thought, if your file breaks on ya!

why do you need a gas adjusting tool made from a cartrige and a nail ? how does it work ? is there a lot of fiddlin required with hakim ownership ?
