Anybody got a favorite? Until the next one comes along, this one is mine... it's a knockoff of a fixed Yugoslavian M95. 5.56 cal, 1-7 twist with adjustable gas system. The rifle weighs in on the heavy side, you barely feel it recoil. Action is smooth as butter.

post'em if you got'em!

I've got a few. Old picture, I have a couple more than in here but sadly the .308 VEPR (right hand vertical) is now gone :( My favourite is the 5,45 VEPR IIk

Man, I haven't seen a Romanian bakelite lower w/pistol grip since the 90's! Is the Galil a U.S. clone or an import? I've got 3 more 5.45's to build.. they're some of my favorites too. I like the low recoil, and I really like the current cost of ammo! How do you guys like the PSL's? Are they Romanian made or TG built? I've got mine test fired, but I haven't had a chance to get it to a bench to really see what it can do. I was really surprised to see how much the ammo differs head space wise.

Here's a pic of the PSL I built.

Here's an EG clone I built from a Bulgarian 5.45 kit.. fun shooters.
Image

Romanian SAR cloned out. If anybody knows where I can find a bakelite upper handgaurd, please let me know.
Image

Milled Yugoslavian M70. Gave me fits to build, but it's finally straight now.
Image

Yugo Krink (oh to live in a SBR friendly state)
Image

Yugo M70AB2. This is one of my favorites, I built it to match it's original condition, came with the cross and 4 c's.. a battlefield relic.

One of these days I'll quit putting these things together and actually get out for some range time!

No her's was a special order left handed model. :lol

Mine is an early import Romanian, has to be 8-10 years old.

Here's a more current pic

Image

And the Romy you mentioned is a CUR II 5,45..old import that I converted over to p-grip & replaced the FSB with a romy AK74 one. The above picture (group photo) was back in NJ when I couldn't have an evil stock like this (or it would get up & night & kill on it's own :lol )

Image

Oh yeah, th Galil is really a "Hegal" hess receiver clone job. I actually got rid of it, didn't care much for the Galil's weight

The stock is (was) custom made by SoupBowl enterprises of maple.

The scope is a PKS 07 prismatic 7 power illuminated reticle. I have one with a standard russian type reticle & one with a dot in a ranging oval (original style reticle) They were expensive when you could find them, now they are hen's teeth.

Original Reticle

That scope is a totally new one on me, I've never seen a reticle like that.

WOW :!: :!: all of those are just plain perttie!! my wish list has certainly grown since I signed on with this group. I'm even starting to look forward to getting my personal rebate check (even though I detest the principle behind it). I think I'll be like a few other of you there and spend it on new armament - just to tick them off :!: :!: :!:
