Attention New Members and those new registering! We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7. Thanks for joining us from the administration.

Just stumbled in the door from work & here sits my model1 AR kit!!! Woo hoo!!! :bigrin:

Now if I can control myself & get a decent nap before I tear the box open & start right off losing critical parts. SW

The first one I put together by referencing the small (7 X 10" or so) exploded diagram in the bushmaster catalogs.

You got me figured out! I didn't lay down at all. Believe it or not, I got it together with no extra pieces and NO lost parts!!!

I made a little paper enclosure & did the critical assemblies in that. As stated above, the front take down pin is a BASTAGE to assemble!!! It shot away from me 12 times ( actual count) but I had it contained & finally got it together.

Now to score a magazine... forgot all about that! What a dummy!!!

No the parts kits usually don't include mags.

Steve if you come across any 20 rd straight mags, I'll trade you some 30 rounders for them!
