Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

Theres a lot of guns out there and I like a lot of them, I've narrowed my choices to these two, AR-15 or CETME?

Cetme's are riddled with problems. Many of them are very picky on ammo. If it's a century arms one then forget it. The AR 15 is a stable platform and you can pick a few different calibers. One company in Maine had one that you could change the mag well and the upper and fire a number of different calibers. The AR is tried and proven, plus a $600 cetme is no match for a $600 AR. I have an L1A1 and a bushmaster xm-15. I like the Bushmaster far better.But I intend to keep both

now theres one id like to try one day - thats a fine looking rifle , and im all those mags are full - i think you need lotsa help keeping it fresh , I AM AVAILABLE :grin:

guess not all cetme's are bad. I have 2 and have never had a problem out if either one of them. course, the only ammo i've ever shot out of them was spanish, portugese, or south african surplus.

i like the .308 much better than the .223, has much more stopping power. having said that, I'm waiting on an ar15 to show up from dpms right now. that doesn't sound very consistent, does it? :lol

I've got a Cetme that runs like a top... but I still wouldn't take it over an AR if I could only have just one.
