I think your correct about the lug thingy as I have read thats how they head space them and the lugs are different sizes. I have also read that most kits the lug has worked fine but I don't want to take a chance of an owie!

bruce , please do look on the bipod - i was aware it was cut/fitted for it but without the bit , id like one

as to the FH and upside down bayo lug - i must check that out , im new here and somewhat in the dark ,
while happy , id love to get things right , any photos of the correct bayo ? ...........you know me , i love my bayos - ill even buy one just to inspire a rifle purchase

I still think that folder is ugly and you had better trade me my fixed for it

I forgot to add that the SKS, Swedish Ljungman, and probably the French 49/56 and Tokarevs also use the same method as they are all tilt down to lock actions. I have extra lugs or locking shoulders that fit the Egyptian Hakims although they are retained with tapered pins that are a PITA to get out compared to the 49FN.

i think the flash hider is the belgian with bayo lug , but im not sure of that

Only if it is on a G1 Barrel. Does it (flash hider) detach off like a socket bayonet? (Close pics would help)

no - dont think it does - its got a screw in the top side opposite the rather skimpy lug ,

I have been very satisfied with the production of Entreprise rifles and receivers. I have purchased one complete rifle from Entreprise, and have had two rifles built on their new Type 3 receivers. The fit and finish of all firearms is excellent, and the workmanship superb.

Entreprise uses Imbel rifles, that were purchased from Chilean sources. Most of those Chilean rifles kits are mechanically in very good condition, but will have finish wear from military maneuvers (any and all veterans will understand). In each case, I have opted for reparking of every rifle, for a modest price.

Entreprise stands behind their products, and are very friendly and helpful. I hope this helps anyone trying make the purchase of a FAL rifle.
