I had a post about this one a long time back. The guy had it for $350. I was thinking of buying it but, kept finding other things I wanted more. So after about two years I called him up and asked if he still had it, and he did and it was the same price. So I made the time , got the cash and picked it up. I was trying to get the air rifle to go with it. Someone did email about one but it was missing a part and the price was a little high. So I am still looking. But I do also have a Hakim, which by the way I saw another at a gun show this past weekend, and the nut selling it wanted $650 for it. Now these a currently selling at $400 on gunbroker which I also think is to high. I paid $282 for mine.

Fortunately for you and unfortunately for the rest of us there were far too few of the Rasheeds made (approx 7000). I have a friend who has one and it shoots about as accurately as the ammo is capable (IMHO). Even though this was an Egyptian modification it was well done. I consider it the most accurate semiauto that fires 7.62x39. The barrel is free floated and the action shortened to make it handy and useful.The fit and finish are on pare with European standards. This was a real sleeper and I am sorry I did not jump at the chance to get one. 20/20 hindsight.

BTW $400 these days is not bad for a Hakim in very good condition. After all they were made on Swedish machinery and by people trained by Swedish techs and they are amazingly accurate despite the need for a hearing aid afterwards.
