So I have been watching the gunbroker auctions , and checking out other gun web sites. I can't belive the price gouging on AR lower recivers. I mean $200 for a stripped reciver, thats crap. I went to a gunshow back in December and had a hard time accepting the prices for the stuff. We left and went over to the S&W Performance center. I ordered on stripped lower and my dad ordered 2 , we got them in three weeks, the order price was $125. they took three weeks to make. When we went to pick them up I found out tht if you were a veteran or active duty they will give you 10% off. I can't belive people are paying those other prices. I have ordered a lower parts kit for it, I put a green magpul grip I had kicking around on it and a fixed colapsable stock I had on it to. I bought a CZ VZ-22 .22lr complete upper to put on it and plink with. I am looking for another upper for it in 7.62x39 ,5.46x39, or 6.8 if I can find one complete. For now the .22 will be a fun plinker, I have two bushmasters in .223 so I thought I would change it up.

I have a complete new in box 5,45 X 39 S&W tactical upper with 1 30 round mag & a replacement heavy hammer spring sitting right here. Flat top, M4 profile.

Edit: Got one for a friend of mine down the road & he pulled around a 2" group with Barnaul 55 gr. ammo. He emailed me this pic along with his description
"Just some more interesting testing. As ALWAYS,...at 200 yds. This is from my S&W M&P 16" m3 tact. upper, with scope. The lower is a stag arms tact.
Below is the best of the lot, Barnaul soft point 55gr, that aint bad..needless to say, I ordered another 750 from Copes last week. Wolf coming in second with 4 shots in a 3 inch group, bulgy wasp 4 in a 4 inch group"

Guys on some other boards are saying that the 5.45x39 surplus ammo that SOG andeveryone else is selling is corrosive, no matter what they are saying. Any one know if thats true. I would hate to buy the upper only to find the cheap ammo is corrosive. That would be no fun trying to clean the gas port every time.

Got three lpk in from Model1sales the other day and put Mine in. works great, but the V-22 upper is real tight. You have to bang the pins in with a rubber hammer. I have to take the upper apart and do a complete clean on it.
