my daughter said she wanted an AP-4 , and somehow i said she could have mine , so i put together the parts and bits ive been accumulateing over the last few years , most were bought because they were cool , one offs , odd balls , or available , im not at all sure what id intended , but this is what i got ,
a few particulars -
the barrel is a fluted one[we had two at the club i bought one] its a two step straight contour fluted on both , its got an A2 FS on it now but somewhere i have a fancy one ill replace it when i find it ,
the handguards are standard glaciers , i added the rail under that allows the larue grip[i got in a grab bag]and the side rail for the flashlight :>}lazer ,
the reciever is a special one , if you look its cut for a side chargeing handle [thats being made by a freind out in the dakotas this summer ] meantime i installed a standard chargeing handle with tactical lock , it also has an extended port on the right and no forward assist or deflector ,
the standard colapsable buttstock has the ambi singlepoint sling attachement and a rubber buttpad that gives it a little 'stick' when it hits your shoulder ,
the reciever is standard but the pistol grip has a plug and the mag well has a dust plug , not at all sure why with the upper wide open .... oh , and i forgot the tactical bolt release ,
