The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. long story short I bumped into a old friend yesterday.he told me he was going to sell off some of his stuff.I went over and picked up a nice redfield 6X scope for the rem 700.he then told me was going to sell a couple of rifles would I like to take a look.
he pulled out this mini he used for coyote hunting.he said he hadn't shot in 8-9 years.it looked pretty clean and he said a low round count.the price was "right" so I bought it.
took it out to the range this morning.I know everyone will tell ya the mini sux but I think with some load work this one will be fine.it even shot the 62 gr "pulled" bullets well.I just used the irons this morning.

I had to make 2 adjustments to the rear sight.

A ranch rifle in SS. I saw the scope mounts before I saw the receiver. Some good shooting too. I have one that I bought in 1989 and it is still in the box. One of these days, if I can live long enough, and get some ammo I just might shoot it.

When my son was in the marines he picked up about 1500 once fired cases and I just haven't done much with them other than decap them. I need to get an 8# jug of powder and some bullets for it. I have a handful of .224 hunting bullets from when I had a .222. I mainly need to find the ambition.

I usually prefer Hodgdons and IMR powders but with the prices I just may have to go with something else.
