The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. I asked for any info concerning removing the grenade launcher a while back and got exactly that. Great info!! Anyway, I can't remember who provided the appropriate URL, I think it was Crunchman, then Et2ss mentioned that he had seen 59/66's with L1A1 flash hiders. :crzy:

The rifle was still unfired at the time. We tested the flash hider after dark, as well as the night sights, and there is less flash than a firefly. I just love it , now I have to get the launcher sight removed. Sorry you had to look at my bubba attack! :thnx:

Looks Good! How do you have it fixed into position? Did you cut a slot & use the L1A1 dwell key & pin?

Thanks again, you 2!! The plan was to cut a slot and use the L1A1 pin, but it fit so tight against the base that I have held off altering the barrel. Wondering if lock tite would keep it fixed on. If it moves, then I will address that situation.

I simply love my Yugo SKS. It is suprisingly accurate and a fun gun to have at the range.
