congrats - you will enjoy it im sure , i enjoy mine , a very reliable rifle and it reminds me of the M1carbine in its handling , they are not the dead on sniper rifle that others are but for suppressing fire - well if you can reload quick you can keep their heads down |

They are a fun plinking rifle. Never really tried to get 'tack driving' results but I bet you can get very similar results as other semi's out there. I know that the screwed barrel versions can be quite accurate. I've always used mine to 'ring the steel plate' at 300 m or less & have always heard it go "DING!" |

about 10' Actually about 984.24' (300 m) and it is about 2' or so wide. When I go to shoot the long range plates & get a cheap can of dayglo orange paint & give them a quick coat. The boolits vaporize into a nice black splatter.....easy to see the hits with the spotting scope |

with my limited shooting of commie guns I have found the sks to shoot tighter groups than the AK-47.I bought my first norinco sks matching in 10 lb's of cosmo for 69.00.norinco 7.62 ammo was 1.89 in the green 20 rd boxes. |
