Polytech M14, I got a call from my gun dealer friend and he said he had this rifle to up on the web. But I wanted it. got a good price on it. I was looking at the socom rifles and other M1A's but they were a lot of cash. This should be fun if it will shoot straight. I have a heard the polytech's are pretty good. |

I've heard conflicting opinions about these clones. Some say they're great some say they're crap. I'd love to have an M1A but I'm currently lacking the funds ... Brgds, A |

An M14 is definitely on my short list. I have a buddy who has one of those Polytechs and he swears by it, he's blasted many a hog and deer with it. |

most of what ive heard was good , it was always cached in the fact that it was an import , but much like the itilian M1garands not a whole lot negative , if it shoots good id be happy , it certainly looks great , getting a good fit with a scope mount was the biggest objection ive heard , but that can be done by a talented gunsmith familiar with these , actually id heard similar remarks about some M1A's |

I just need to get to the range, but the motorcycle battery is dead and the club breakfast is Sunday so tomorrow is tied up with the procurement of a new one tomorrow. |
