came in to the gun shop last week and I just had to have it. walther PPK ,waffen marked and N proofed. I just need to locate some grips and the small mainspring clip thats broken. and WW2 mag. no luck finding the parts so far.

Do not know about the clip but check www.carlwalther.com/grips for the grip panel.
Found a nice pair there for a post war PPK a while back.

ya I just found that site last night. they want as much for the correct grips as I paid for the gun. I did find the spring clip on numrich last night though.

Sorry, forgot to mention the probable sticker shock. They are a bit on the high side.

Now I am confused Andrey You live in Belgium as I understand What in the heck are the gun laws of Europe? Other than short trips for Military business I seldom spend a great deal of time there You and Martin are both European.Martin I believe resides in the Netherlands The American Antis are yelling about making our laws as strict as Europe, but what are the gun laws of Europe?

There is not really a european gunlaw. The different member-countries all have different gunlaws, though the aim is to bring them all to the same level as whatever is the strictest one
I'll try to give you a comprehensible rundown about the belgian gunlaws asa I have the time one of these days. Maybe friday. Promise.

I haven't tried Marshall grips but I did put a set of Spegels on my BHP.

Gun laws seem to vary widely in Europe. Italy is very restrictive - I can't even send Italian bayonets there - to buy them requires a license. A friend there complained that Americans "can have a field piece or fifty caliber machine gun in their garden!"

I have bought a bayonet directly from Bulgaria - no restrictions there. Germany seems fairly liberal. Look no farther than eGun.de to see about that.

The law that struck me as the oddest was in Holland. I sold Dutch Mosin a Beaumont rifle which could be shipped directly to his door, but to send him 10 unprimed cartridge cases required a permit. This in a country where you can get a serious hemp buzz in a "smoke shop" and stagger around the corner to rent "companionship" for an hour or the night.

I guess we all have our odd laws. SW
