Hello everybody. I haven't posted in awhile but I read the forum frequently. Great Stuff! I just bought a fn 1910 pistol at a gun show for 200 bucks. serial number 417xxx. I don't know much about it other than it shoots .32 ACP. Does anyone know of a website for cleaning procedure prior to shooting. Any info on the gun would be appreciated. Thanks, Eli

Just do a google for the pistol. There are vids for disassembly.

+1 Plug the make and model into youtube - there is normally something for it. That's how I learned to remove the firing pin from my M.90 Steyr. SW

Not so complicated, once you find out the right sequence.
Don't let the firing pin fly off into space ...

+1!!! There is a 1911 firing pin somewhere in my gun room.... My thumb slipped and twaaaaaaang. Away it went never to be seen again. I strongly suspect alien archeologists grabbed it & took it back to the mother ship. Fortunately, I had spares on hand. (For loss - not breakage.)

When I put an AR lower together, I do it in a clear plastic bag. That has saved me a lot of money from keeper pins and tiny springs flying away. SW

Now that we're on the subject of springs ...
Couple years ago me and some friends were at a gunshop checking out some AK's.
In the workshop next door we could see the gunsmith's aprentice working on the ejectors of a quite expensive looking S/S shotgun.
We were discussing the AK prices with the gunsmith when suddenly we heard PTOIIING followed by some very rude words. The gunsmith looked up and sighed deeply.

I will try to post pics later when my girlfriend gets home with a camera. I found a good website with disassembly procedure. It is a very nice little gun, the parts fit together really smooth. I guess thats a Browning design for ya. I took it apart and cleaned it. I think its ready to go. I will take it to the range tomorrow after work!! It looks like it was made in the early forties from what I have found out. Thanks for showing interest, Eli.

It sure was nice to see ammo prices back to normal at the gun show this past weekend. I bought 100 rounds of 7.62x54r for 25 bucks! 69 head stamp m2 ball HXP for 15 bucks for a box of 20. Does anyone know if 69 headstamp HXP is corrosive. oh and 22lr blazer ammo for 5 bucks for a box of 50.
