In two days I bought two new 1911's. But neither is a .45.

RIA TAC II 10mm
Sig Sauer .22LR (Assuming you can call a .22 a 1911, it sure looks like one.)

Pics when they get to my transfer guy.

All my pistols, and I only have duplicates of 2 calibers.
This will make 3 10mm pistols. (I do love the 10mm!) And that SIG will be my second .22 LR. My other being my Marvin the Martion highly modified Browning Buckmark.

Now rifles is a different story. I have 14 Mosin Nagants and a Winchester 95 all firing 7.62X54R. I have 3 Steyr M95's firing 8X56R. I have 2 M1 Garands and a Savage 100 firing 30.06. I have 4 Mausers firing 8X57 and another one that was converted to .308.

Still can't figure out this bushingless barrel thing. Yeah, I see the hole in the guide rod and yeah, I bent a paperclip to stick in the hole and lock the spring, but I just can't seem to remove the spring and rod assembly out of the slide.

I was looking at a .22 SigSauer like that last week, except it had the OD finish.
Really nice pistol, all metal and same size as the 1911
Unfortunately I just couldn't think of a reason to invest in another 22 pistol ...
I should see a doctor about that ...

Well, I just decided I do need another 1911 in a .45. And Bud's Guns had this on sale. It's all mine.
