That's what "Bolo" is supposed to mean on the shorter broomhandles. Allegedly Bolsheviks liked them for some reason. I can't swear to that, but I can tell you Redmans does great barrel relining!
Bought this Bolo several years ago for cheep because it's a mixmaster that had a sewer pipe for a bore. After Comrade Swihart relieved me of a nasty old Vetterli, I used the proceeds to send my upper off for a liner.
They said it could be up to 3 months due to work load, but it was back in 6 weeks. Installed the new liner - cut a new chamber & extractor groove and blued the end so you can not tell where the barrel ends and liner begins. I am WAY happy with it!
And! Where would we be without youtube? I started to put it back together and realized I was in over my head. Took about 4 minutes after watching the vid.
Now to pull down some WW 30 Tokarev ammo and reduce the powder charge. If the roads aren't too sloppy tomorrow, I'll try for a function test. SW
