I looked up cost of an adjustable rear sight... using what I already had seemed the way to go since I need an ambi safety for the Smith 469 soon to arrive. And it's really not that heavy. SW |

Bushnell has a really tiny one that has been on the market a couple of years now. Trophy TRS 25, and it goes about 90-130 bucks depending on where you buy. I'm waiting for cabelas here to put them on sale again, and I'll try one then. Missed the last sale. A 3 minute dot seems o.k. for pistols from what I've seen with the Tasco RD-32-22, which has a body about 4 times the size of the Trophy ... Picked up the shooting both eyes open habit a very long time ago, and still do it- even with some pretty beefy scopes. It seems to keep my hit ratio in the + range. Regards, Doc Sharptail |
