Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

Thanks for joining us from the administration.

Anyone got one? I looked at one today at Cabela’s sure is a nice big revolver, originally I was looking to get the performance center S&W 460, but the finish quality and durability remarks I read on line plus the nightmare story’s of dealing with S&W customer service and warranty’s has kinda scared me off. Ruger on the other hand makes a solid revolver with very few issues. Plus the 454 is a little lighter on the wallet.

S&W revolvers have a long reputation of not standing up to a steady diet of mastodon whacker loads. My experience with that was a S&W 44 mag I used for silhouette shooting. Shot it loose in one season. It wasn't unsafe but was no longer match grade accurate.

Good call with the Ruger! Dan Wesson also makes a darn stout revolver. SW

My wife's got .357 Blackhawk and I 45.long colt I like shooting hot loads in mine no comparison to the 454. Casull thought that's to carry in grizzly country
