Attention New Members and those new registering! We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7. Thanks for joining us from the administration.

this was a direct copy of the webley no1 revolver , its dated 1923 , these are a larger version of the later no2 revolvers

right and left sides

these are the logo/markings ,

and the serialnumber

pete , i can shoot these :grin:

, im looking to load for these , they are cot for half moons and 45acp - so ill reload the 45auto rims ill shoot out of my S&W M1917 , that way i can download to the 600+fps of the webley/enfeilds and when i get this done ill post the range reports

subhunter - you are thinking of the no2 revolvers [webley mkIV (4)] this is the earlier 455 no1 revolver that both webley and enfeild produced , it was the inspiration for the later revolvers tho , if you look close in the second photo just ahead of the cylinder its marked 455 cal

my plan , as time allows , is to photo me no 2 revolvers and post them next , i have a webley mkIV , an enfeild mkI , I* , and an albion mkI** , in that series ,

i may add my S&W victory in 38s&w in that group as i display them that way - or i may put it in with the US pistols and revolvers ill start on next with the camera
