Trooper Mk.III's were designed and first produced in 1969 to replace the older Official Police design. Darned good revolvers, I have shot them and found them too be more accurate than the K-frame Smiths due too their heavier weight. Not as good a trigger pull as the Python but its not too bad. |

Don't know anything about valuations, but I've shot a medium to large .357 revolver... kick wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Didn't have the top snap of my Makarov's or Tokerovs (or CZ-52). |

I had a Trooper MkIII in the early eighties. I traded a pre-warning Ruger Blackhawk in .45 Colt for it. Worst mistake I ever made. ( well, one of them anyway). I never could shoot that thing worth a darn. Made my S&W M19 look like a target gun. Finally sold the thing and never looked back. |
