Yesterday's Weapons Forums

Since I'm on a "dig out the 22's" mode! I bought this one (not win!) many years ago. I know nothing about them other then on line searches which has not got me much in information. What I do know is it is not a true military pistol even though the pistol is named a Model H-D Military and the holster (which fits well) is US.

One of my questions is what year was it made and of all the photos I have seen on line the grips are wood and the rear sights are smaller with a much lower front sight. Mine has a tall Micro rear sight with a tall front sight. You can see in the photo that it says Patent Pending and is made by the High Standard Mfg Co. And the last question were the triggers on these adjustable? This pistol has a screw just above the trigger guard and in front of the trigger.

Except for the grips, it looks like a couple we had in our NG armory. ABout 3-4 times a year they let check em out and go down into the basement indoor range to give em a workout.

I don't remember the H-D Military markings, (it was 20 years ago) but ours had the bull barrel like that. That's about all I know, sorry

Nice looking plinker you got there. Now if you will just send the holster to me or Mario as I think our 45s will fit it better.
